A Fun-Filled Adventure with the Three Little Pigs!

This week in nursery, we are exploring the story The Three Little Pigs. Our little learners have had so much fun engaging with the story in many creative ways. We started by reading the book and discussing what happened in the story. The children have enjoyed retelling it and adding their own twists, sparking their imaginations and helping them develop storytelling skills.

In addition to reading, we’ve been busy making drawings of pigs—some are pink, some are purple, and some are rainbow colored! The children have had a great time expressing their creativity through art.

We also took our learning beyond the classroom with a fun-filled pig hunt! The children had to search for and spot pigs and other farm animals around the nursery. It was a fun, active way to explore the world of farm animals and the setting of the story.

The children also made their own “houses” out of bricks. Using toy blocks and other materials, they worked together to design strong, sturdy homes—just like the third little pig’s brick house! They even imitated the wolf and tried to blow the houses down.

In addition to all of this, we’ve been having a great time with playdough, where the children have been shaping pigs, houses, and even wolves! It’s been a hands-on experience that supports fine motor skills while keeping them engaged in the story.

Thank you for your continued support, and we hope your little ones have been sharing their fun stories with you at home!
