Walking through the jungle

This week, we have been enjoying the story ‘Walking Through the Jungle’ by Julia Lacome, which has inspired lots of exciting learning and exploration! The children went on a bug and insect hunt, discovering all sorts of creepy crawlies. We learned about what they eat, how they move, and what they look like — a fantastic way to explore nature while getting active outdoors.

In addition to our nature adventures, we have started learning our phonics sounds and practising writing letters as we prepare for Reception in 2025. We have also been thinking about numbers and learning how to link them to quantities through fun, hands-on activities.

It has been a busy, fun-filled week of learning, and we are so proud of everything the children have achieved. Take a look at some of the lovely photos from our week!
