Summer 2 Week 2
Last week, the children in Reception had two special visitors, Hugh and Layla, come along from Peckham Library to sing songs and share a funny story called ‘Mr Big’ They really enjoyed the experience.
This week in Reception, the children are continuing to learn about the butterfly life cycle and have been busy exploring symmetry through making butterflies in the creative area and online using Busy Things. Here are some photos and a link to an episode from Teeny Tiny creatures about butterflies and JoJo and Gran Gran on a butterfly hunt;
Remember that on Friday 13th June, there will be a Fathers Day lunch in the hall from 11:30 onwards. If you would like to attend, please get a ticket from the school office by Tuesday 10th June.
Another reminder that on Thursday 12th June, there is a reading workshop led by Mrs Machaliwa after school from 3:20 onwards. Come along to get some ideas as to how you can best support your child with their reading!
Thank you for your continued support.
Kind regards,
Reception Team
