Summer 2 Week 3
This week is Refugee Week. We kindly ask your child to come dressed in blue tomorrow on Wednesday 18th June and in rainbow colours on Friday 20th June.
We will be having a pride month picnic from 1:45 onwards on Friday and would really appreciate any food or drink donations to be given on the day.
In class, our book of the week is Mad About Minibeasts. Here is a link to the story below;
The children have really been engaged with drawing minibeasts through ‘Get Squiggling’. This is a great series which promotes observational skills. Here is a link to an episode below;
Just to remind you as well, we will be having Sports Day on Thursday 26th June from 9:15 – 11:15 as well as the Summer Fair from 2:30 onwards. Please collect your child from class on this day to enjoy the fun of the fair!
Remember to keep on reading with your child. Please log into the Collins Hub to access the online books. You will find the home learning in your child’s book;
In this hot weather we are experiencing, please remember to send in your child in with a water bottle, a sun hat and sun cream.
Kind regards,
Reception Team
