Summer 2 Week 5

First and foremost, a big thank you for all those who turned out for the EYS/KS1 Sports Day. Despite the windy conditions, the children had lots of fun warming up and doing all the different races! Here are some photos from the day;

This week, the children are learning about Elmer the Elephant and have been exploring the themes of kindness and helpfulness through circle times. They have been making puppets in the creative area and enjoyed listening to the stories at story time. Below is the online story of Elmer and The Butterfly;

Finally, please note the following dates for your diaries;

  • Wednesday 9th July – Parents Open Afternoon
  • Friday 11th July – Local trip to Brunswick Park. (Please speak to a member of the team if you would like to accompany us on this trip.)
  • Wednesday 16th July – EYFS Graduation
  • Friday 18th July – End of School Year (2pm finish)

Many thanks for your continuous support

Kind regards

Reception Team
