A very warm welcome to Reception!

First and foremost, a very warm welcome to Reception! Over the next few weeks, we will be getting to know your children and showing them around their new classrooms!

Over the last few days, the children have been having fun exploring the learning environment. They have been making self portraits for our welcome boards, making models in the small world area, playing with playdough and cutting and sticking. Photographs to follow!

A big thank you to those parents who attended Meet The Teacher on Wednesday! If you have any questions, please speak to a member of the Reception Team.

Just to remind you that Mrs Naylor will be running a Phonics Workshop in the community room on Monday 15th September from 8:55 to 9:55. Please come along to get some ideas as to how early reading is taught. Another date for your diary is Tuesday 7th October when the Southwark Immunisation Team will be in to carry out the flu vaccinations. Please complete the online consent form.

Please remember the school day begins at 8:45 and finishes at 3:15 so please make sure you are on time to drop off and collect your child.

Our topic for this half term is All About Me. We will be talking about families and sharing some lovely story books with your children.

We have been learning some songs with your children. Here are the links below;

Thank you for your continuous support.

Kind regards,

Miss Ellery, Mr Crick and Mrs Carter.
