Our topic for this half term is Changes. We have been learning about the changing colours of Autumn and hope to be going on a leaf hunt in the near future (weather permitting!)
This week we have been learning about animals that hibernate during the Winter months, such as hedgehogs and bats.
In Maths, we are continuing to focus on numbers up to 10 and we have been learning how to use ten frames to find one more and one less than any given number. Please continue to support your child in achieving their maths targets. Here is a link to a counting song below;
Please remember to read with your child everyday, practise the sounds of the week in phonics and complete the weekly homework.
Just a reminder of some key dates and events happening between now and the Christmas holidays;
Thursday 17th November – Photographs (Individual and siblings)
Tuesday 13th December – EYFS/KS1 Nativity
Friday 16th December – End of Autumn term (2pm finish)
Thank you for your continued support!
